Just a few weeks ago, I was joking around with her. Now she's no longer with us. I still have a lot of unanswered questions that I needed answers from her about. About how to live life, about how to be a better person, about how I could be as good as her. I wish she could be here with us the day Criselda and I have kids, when we grow older and need advice on how to raise them. I wish she was still right here with me bugging me to drive more carefully, about how not to be so messy, about sleeping more early, about being nice to others. I know I was not the most perfect son, but to me she was the most perfect mother. She was the most selfless person I know. She dedicated her life to everyone around her and loved every minuted of it. She was a good luck charm to Kung. She helped me with everything I needed. I want her to still be here. I don't know how to do everything I need to do.

So many what if's. What if there was a better treatment? What if she had another chance.

My only solace is that I know that she is no longer suffering. No longer having the pain of chemo therapy and radiation. No more IV's in her arm, no more machines breathing for her. No more sedation keeping her from comunicating to us.

I only wish that our time with her was less brief. I only got to know my mom for 25 years. I cherish every moment I had with her, good or bad.

Mom, thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for always standing up for me even when I was wrong. Thank you for always cleaning up my messes. Thank you for always understanding my mistakes. Thank you for never being too upset with me. Thank you for worrying about me. Thank you for fighting the long and hard battle that you did so you could be there for us just that much longer. Thank you for being the greatest mother in the world.

I miss you so much and love you even more. I know that you are up in heaven with Po, Uncle Jerry and everyone else who we love that has passed. God will take care of you now. Please never forget us because we will never forget you.

Nintendo DSi for presale at Gamestop

I've been thinking about getting a DSi from Talia in Japan. It's finally going to be in the US. What's weird is that there isn't a white version yet, but a black and blue version.
I recently broke the power switch on my DS changing the housing from my broken yellow housing to the new glossy yellow one. I'm going to purchase a power switch from deal-extreme to fix it. If that doesn't work, I might have to get the black DSi.

A Rockmart family is being sued for illegal music file sharing, despite the fact that they don’t even own a computer.

A federal lawsuit filed this week in Rome by the Recording Industry Association of America alleges that Carma Walls, of 117 Morgan St., Rockmart, has infringed on copyrights for recorded music by sharing files over the Internet. The lawsuit seeks an injunction and requests unspecified monetary damages.

The lawsuit states, “Plaintiffs are informed and believe that Defendant, without the permission or consent of Plaintiffs, has used, and continues to use, an online media distribution system to download the copyrighted recordings, to distribute the copyrighted recordings to the public, and/or to make the copyrighted recordings available for distribution to others.”

This came as shocking news to the Walls family, who were notified of the lawsuit Friday afternoon by a newspaper reporter. James Walls, speaking on behalf of his wife and family, said they have not been served with legal papers and were unaware of the lawsuit.

After being shown a copy of the court filing, Walls said he found the whole thing bewildering.

“I don’t understand this,” Walls said. “How can they sue us when we don’t even have a computer?”

Walls also noted that his family has only resided at their current address “for less than a year.” He wondered if a prior tenant of the home had Internet access, then moved, leaving his family to be targeted instead.

However, the RIAA’s lawsuit maintains that Carma Walls, through the use of a file-sharing program, has infringed on the copyrights for the following songs: “Who Will Save Your Soul,” Jewel; “Far Behind,” Candlebox; “Still the Same,” Bob Seger; “I Won’t Forget You,” Poison; “Open Arms,” Journey; “Unpretty,” TLC; No Scrubs,” TLC; and “Saving All My Love for You,” Whitney Houston.

Actress Katie Holmes, who is engaged to film star Tom Cruise, has given birth to the couple’s first child.

Holmes gave birth to a baby girl, Suri, on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Both mother and baby were “doing well”, a spokesman said in a statement.

The baby is the first for Holmes, 27, while Cruise has two adopted children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

The couple, who have been engaged since June 2005, plan to marry in late summer or early autumn, according to Cruise.

Spokesman Paul Bloch said in a statement that the couple “joyously welcomed” the arrival of their daughter.

The baby’s name, Suri, came from Hebrew, meaning “princess” or in Persian, meaning “red rose”, the statement said.

The baby weighed 3.4 kg (7lb 7 oz) and measured 50.8 cm (20 inches), Mr Bloch said.

No details were given about the birth itself, which had been the subject of much speculation.

Cruise, 43, is currently in the middle of promoting his new film, Mission Impossible III.

This is the fourth generation Altima from Nissan and it looks to build on the sales strength of the popular third generation model. All new for ’07, the Altima is based on Nissan’s new D platform and has a shorter wheelbase and length than the previous model, though retains its ample interior space. A new generation VQ-Series 3.5L V6 puts out 265 hp and 255 ft-lbs. of torque through either a six-speed manual or through the company’s Xtronic CVT, the latter of which is quite an achievement considering the amount of torque Nissan’s V6 is able to generate. Plus, CVT-equipped models get a center console with a new triple front cup holder. Woot!

We dig the Altima’s duds, especially the strong front and rear fenders that give the car a wide and stable appearance. The new T-shaped corporate grille works well here, especially with the optional HID headlamps.

Volkswagen US announced tuseday that they will be renaming the Mk5 Golf to the Rabbit for the N/A market. Interesting move on VW’s part. They are reviving a name that has not been in VW’s lineup since the 70’s.
<br Volkswagen's Director of Brand Innovation, Kerri Martin, said, “The reintroduction of the Rabbit represents Volkswagen’s commitment to this market and is a nod to the passionate North American enthusiasts who have an emotional connection with the Rabbit name.”
